Apparently PS3 just got tested on a lower HD Television and they've been testing it on Sony's New Pro HD tv.. But the regular HD tv's have to have the DP reset to 448 DP which is the same as the wii's. So basically..
On a regulaur tv the PS3 Will have the same Dp as the Wii. Hahaha,

It wasn't a test it's what gamers experienced when using a standard HDTV without 1080p. So if your TV wasn't made in the past 2 years than you don't have it and your stuff will be letter boxed.

Gameplay over graphics?Look at the ps2 compared toboth xox and gamecube it easily has the best games. The gamecube has been dead for years it gets a good game maybe once every 6 months.

Carbine, the PS2 rocks, I still play the socom games for it and I'm getting the new Socom Combined Assault too. The PS3 is going to be expensive as hell even if it has the good games, some not all, the wii's going to have the new zelda, SSB:B, and red steel. I already have a 360 it's a great system, Gear of Wars is a great game fun as hell in multiplayer. I'm not saying PS3 is bad, I'm just saying it's expensive.

Paying 500 for hobos aint funny... Paying almost over 10k for a ps3 on ebay is funny.
1st, Wii, I've always believed Gameplay > Graphics. Graphics is just a small factor that I care for. Gameplay and Camera is major factors for me.
2nd, PS3, Yes the games look nice yes we all know that but what about the gameplay? The only game at local retailers you get to play is NBA 07 and Motorstorm which I saw it been played and it seems like theres some part that has alittle lag.
3rd, 360, From launch day to today, It took that long for a very good game to come out for the 360 (Gears of war). When I say that I mean ONLY FOR 360. Unlike CoD2 it came out for PC too. Perfect Dark was overated like Halo. Deadrising was okay but not good enough.

I like the Wii better as well, as Fly said earlier, gameplay over graphics.

Quoted from Wikipedia, about the launch of the PS3- ============== Reports of violence surrounding the release of the PS3 include a customer shot, campers robbed at gunpoint, customers shot with BB guns, and 60 campers fighting over 10 systems. One man was sent to the hospital for an injury when a stampede began after a Wal-Mart reportedly placed 10 chairs outside of the store and told 50 people to try to get in one of the chairs for a chance to buy one the 10 systems the store received. In a similar incident elsewhere, police were forced to use pepper balls to contain a rowdy crowd ouside of a Circuit City. Witnesses say that police at one Best Buy declared the crowd an "unlawful gathering" and used batons on those who were being uncooperative. Two gunmen robbed a GameStop store the night before the release, taking several PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. ==============

If I could resell it for that great a profit then I can understand the violence. That and the short supplies.

I think people are overestimating how great the Wii's gameplay will be. There will definitely be some great games that fully utilize the Wii's unique controller, but if you look at some of the early reviews for Red Steel, they're not that good. (I don't know why people were freaking out over Red Steel anyway, the Wii has way more potential for fps games.) I mean, the best game for the Wii so far is Zelda, which is out for the Gamecube too, and the wiimote features added to the Wii version are relatively limited. Also, Super Smash Brothers is not going to use the Wiimote's functions very much, they said so in an interview. So it's not like the best games for the Wii are necessarily going to be totally unique and unconventional, a lot of developers WILL release conventional games like the ones on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and in that respect, Nintendo did admittedly release a much less powerful system, though it is far more affordable.
