Batto made a good point about the no flaming policies on the forums. It seemed kinda' backwards to hold a double standard like this, so the rules of the forums still apply here. This is just a place for the more.. random stuff. --;

Good idea. An oxymoron? "Microsoft Works" ^_^ Kinda old, maybe. NUH uh batto, microsoft beats mac or linux anyday. To actually agree for once, yes. This is true. Linux: This amazing OS has come a long way... and still leads as one of the most versatile programming-based OSes today. Unfortunately, twelve year olds (whom do not program) use this OS along with KDE, a GUI for Linux. Because of KDE, twelve year olds have picked up using Linux to get a feeling of superiority. No longer, is this OS, used as the UNIX-OS, as it was years ago before the internet. ;( Mac: Wow. Great. Apple established a landmark business back in the 80's, providing cheap (in those days) computers that would allow its users to interact with the computer system easily. The OS Mac is based on is based on the BSD side of the UNIX Family (on the opposite side of Linux). The Mac industry saw its fall in the new Millenium, as PC's came into dominance. Now, Macs will soon be integrated into the x86 system (Pretty much PC), where it is undoubtably be pirated, shared, and paired with its long lost Linux brother. WINDOWS: Created by BillyBob Gates and his childhood friend (Gates is a college dropout), making a OS, WINDOWS. The first ones (DOS-based) were lacking compared to the Apple, but thigns saw a change. Windows started making an incredible GUI system, which was user friendly and reliable (at the time). This OS would become dominator of the PC world in its compatibility and simplicity. This OS series still reigns as king today. Unfortunately, Windows Vista is a icon-rip from Mac OSX.

i doubt mac will ever beat microsoft because microsoft based computers are better, have better value for you money, and almost everything is made for windows. only those few ppl that feel they must be different from the rest will use mac or linux. not to mention those new macs are like 1200 usd and dont have much prossescing power in my opinion for that price when you can get good alianware (windows based os

Why don't people just learn to get the best computer for the cause.
Linux - SERVER
Windows - DATABASES, TEXT EDITORS, PROCESSING NUMBERS
Mac - PHOTOEDITTING, 3D EDITTING
I mean, holy s---! Fanboys ahoy!
EDIT:: Oh yeah.
Shouldn't flaming be acceptable if a person asks to be flamed? It's more sorta the uncalled/asked for flaming that's a problem.
